Midnight Madness: cast pic Founded 21 years ago, Midnight Madness is Chicago's original "400 Theater Cast". Having the privilege of calling two theaters home, we've been at Chicago's historic Music Box Theater since 2001 and have just begun performing once a month at the Wilmette Theater in the near north suburbs. We also perform Clue, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Shock Treatment, and Little Shop of Horrors on a regular basis.

Midnight Madness: on the beach Outside of our usual theater settings, we perform at FermiLab's annual film series. FermiLab is the home of the world's highest-energy particle accelerator named the Tevatron. Featuring a couple of engineers, sexy burlesque performers, a pair of imperious bitches, and a support team of oddly named inanimate objects, Midnight Madness members are an overachieving bunch. Having won more costume contests, performed at more conventions, and drank more Jack Daniels than you can shake a stiletto heel at, Mick Rock is quoted as saying "Those people from Chicago, they're like the fucking mafia of this thing."

Midnight Madness: going bowling Helping to keep the Midwest social, Midnight Madness organizes and runs the annual We've Got The Balls For You Bowling Party and the Eat A Dick Picnic. We've also thrown two smashing conventions in two different centuries. The most recent took place in the summer of 2006 on the beautiful Magnificent Mile. The first in 1989 featured the second, and unfortunately last, appearance of Richard O'Brien at a fan thrown convention in the United States. ROB wrote the Rocky Horror oath and anthem for this convention, watch him read it / sing it here.
