Los Angeles, CA — July 17, 2025 — The cult phenomenon that defined midnight movies is turning 50 — and fans from around the world are invited to celebrate at the official Rocky Horror Picture Show 50th Anniversary Convention, taking place September 26–27, 2025, in Los Angeles, California.

The two-day event, produced in conjunction with Lou Adler, will be held at The Roxy, the iconic venue where The Rocky Horror Show made its U.S. stage debut.

The convention will feature appearances by celebrity cast members from the original film, shadowcast preshows, fan panels, a memorabilia auction, trivia and costume contests, exclusive merchandise releases, and much more.

Special programming includes a tribute to Tim Curry, honoring his unforgettable role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, and a memorial to Sal Piro, the beloved president of the Rocky Horror Picture Show Fan Club. Additionally, attendees will have access to panels and previews of new books and documentaries celebrating the film’s enduring legacy.
