Transylvania 99, the British Fan Club convention was a huge success. Besides the appearances of RICHARD O'BRIEN and PATRICIA QUINN, the fans were delighted to see SUE BLANE (costume designer) RAYNER BOURTON (original 'play' ROCKY) and Transylvanians PERRY BEDDEN, CHRISTOPHER BIGGINS, STEPHEN CALCUTT and PAM OBERMEYER...

Congratulations to CHARLEY BROWN and the TUCSON cast for FISHNET FIESTA, a terrific convention last October. Hoopla, guys!!!! NELL CAMPBELL has become a contributing editor for TALK magazine...

There has been a lot of publicity about RICHARD O'BRIEN writing a true sequel to ROCKY HORROR, but to avoid confusion... he is writing a sequel to the play and will more than likely be produced in LONDON once it is written. There is NO information that it will be produced as a film at this point...

MEAT LOAF has written his autobiography TO HELL AND BACK and is available from Regan Books. In it he talks about his ROCKY HORROR experiences... RICHARD O'Brien's long awaited CD ABSOLUTE O'BRIEN has finally been released in England and the US. It has songs from RICHARD's one man show MEPHISTOPHELES SMITH plus new original songs... SUSAN SARANDON is producing and starring in NBC-TV movie PRAYERS FOR BOBBY, about a man of a gay son who committed suicide...
